Wiper motor

Connect up the motor and turn it on, some come in park position but not all. Let the motor cycle and return to park then attach the crank arm. You may want to verify its rotation first though, if the arm is in the wrong position the arms can crash instead of going up the glass. Once you are sure the motor is in the park position then you can attach the arm and rotate it to position to get it into the cowl. Then test it once the motor is in place before attaching the wiper arms so you are sure it's in position.

I attached the position of the arm for the park position below and how far you need to rotate the arm to remove and install.

5. Pull or push on the wiper transmission linkage to rotate the wiper motor crank arm (2) from the park position (1) to the area opposite the park position (3).
