2000 Buick Lesabre wipers

I think I am having problems with the wiper sensor. The wipers go on and off by themselves, with no ryme or reason. I have already changed motor, and it helped for awhile. Where is the sensor for the wipers? And what would other problem would cause them to do this? I had to remove the fuse as a temp fix! Thanks
