My wipers work intermittently. I understand the motor circuit board get crack solder joints which I need to remove and solder. Do I need to disconnect the battery or can I just disconnect the plug which I need to do anyway to remove it. Will it cause any computer problems or engine light. Thanks Bob

Hi,

Yep, that is what happens. As far as disconnecting the wiper motor, you don't need to disconnect the battery. Just have the key in the off position. That shuts the power down to the circuit.

I don't know if you need them, but I attached the removal and replacement directions below for you.

Let me know if this helps or if you have questions.

Take care,

Joe
