White smoke when accelerating

White smoke coming out when acceleration and a rattle sound in the engine. How do I fix the problem?

Hi:

White smoke usually indicates coolant is entering the combustion chamber. That is usually the result of a bad head gasket. Do me a favor. Take a look through this link. It explains how to check for a bad head gasket. Let me know what you find

Thanks a lot.

My vehicle starts normal as usual, but when I step on the accelerator pedal the white smoke comes out. Please need help to resolve the problem.

Have you tried the head gasket issues listed in the aforementioned post? When you say white smoke, is it coming from the exhaust?

If it is determine the head gasket is bad after testing, the only thing you can do is replace the gasket.

I have to be honest, this vehicle isn't offered in the US, so I have little to no technical info. I'm trying to help determine if the head gasket could be the issue. Also, check the engine coolant level to see if it is low as well as the other checks in the link.

Let me know what you find.
