Whistling sound from the engine (at least it sounds like it). But only when in gear and above 1,500 or so RPM's. Stays constant when driving, revving in neutral or park it doesn't make that sound, only in gear. The serpentine belt is new also. (Second video is inside the car, in case you couldn't hear it in the first one)

Hi,

Thanks for the video. Does the noise go away when you release the accelerator? It is kind of faint in the second video but it sounds like it does.

I know the belt is new but just remove it and drive and see if the noise is gone. I would suggest taking off close to where you can test it so that you don't have to drive too far with it off.

Let me know and we can go from there. Thanks

Well, the belt was kind of a pain to change, don’t know if I’ll be able to do that again.

Okay. It sounds like a bearing noise which is why I wanted to see if it goes away with it off.

Here is a video of the squeak that I think I hear on your video. Keep in mind, your issue my not be the same pulley as his but it is the metal to metal or bearing squeak that happens on these.
