Hello, I'm reassembling my car after pulling the transmission and looked over and found this cable I believe it goes to the starter but I already have one positive cable on the starter.

Good evening,

From the looks of the hole in the eyelet, it goes on the post on the battery that has the battery cable attached to the solenoid.

I'll have to take a better look, but I think this starter only has one post terminal but I seen the other impala has two positive on the same terminal.

It looks like the feed to either the fuse block or the alternator.

It's not the fuse or alternator, still have them connected. Could it be like that?

Could be. If you leave it off what does not work?

I do not have the car fully assembled yet but I know the wire goes at least around the starter area, but I cannot think of anywhere it would other than the starter. Okay, found it on the first forum. it does go on the starter it takes two positive cables and that's the only positive cable I have left and only one on the starter. Weird wiring setup.
