How much does it roll when you put it in park? Does it just roll a foot or two until the parking pawl grabs or does it just continue to roll and not stop?

If it doesn't stop then this could be a couple things. First it could be the shift cable is not getting the vehicle into park so we need to run through the process attached below to replace/adjust the cable.

If this is not the issue then the parking pawl inside the transmission is not engaging and that will require removing and taking the unit apart. This is an unlikely failure so I suspect this is the cable.

Let us know what questions you have. Thanks
