p71 PCM compatibility with my car

Want the p. I. p71 PCM in my car. trying to ditch the PATS system, but I can only find online 2005 and up p71 PCM's. so are those compatible with my car if not which years are?

1998-2000 should interchange but the only ones that do not have PATS in them are the actual ARA3 ones that were used in a P71/72 vehicle. I would not trust anything bought online as there are a lot of versions and re-manufactured that claimed to be real that are not. However, the options you have can also be a factor in those swaps. For everyone who says it was plug and play there are ten who it does not work for.
