Driving in first gear in high RPM's engine shut off when shifted from first to second gear

Driving to high in RPM in first gear. Engine shutoff completely after to high of rpm's.
Doesn’t seem to have blown head gasket, the car turns over but just won’t start.

Hello,

Okay, an engine needs only three things to start and run, assuming the internal parts are in good working order, 1) fuel, 2)spark(delivered at the right time), and 3)compression. Let's check the latter of the three and start by checking to confirm your vehicle's engine has compression. Here is a link for you to go to below to confirm this:

It sounds like a timing belt to me, I can tell if I hear the engine crank over, can you upload a video from our phone to our site so I can tell for sure.
