Wow! 113 degrees? Where are you located, planet Mercury? LOL No thank you, I love hot weather, but that is a bit over the top.

As far as the test port is concerned, it will be in front on the fuel rail closest to the firewall. The fuel pressure regulator is on the opposite rail and the opposite side.

If you could take a few pics of what you see and upload them, I should be able to copy your pic and identify the port.

Let me know and keep cool.

So, I went ahead and towed my car to the shop yesterday and they called and said it was ready and it was the anti-theft device that needed to reset. So just the $70.00 diagnosis fee! Haven’t picked it up yet to see how it drives but I will this afternoon.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. I'm sure it will help others in the future.

It is odd that the anti-theft would act that way. However, anything is possible. If things change, let me know.

Also, please feel free to come back anytime in the future if you have questions. You are always welcome here.

Take care,

Joe

I had no idea any car could do that. Simply shut down and jerk and shut odd. My son said GM was the first manufacturer to have that anti-theft lock out thing. So far so good! Car has been running me everywhere I didn’t get to for two months! Hallelujah! I’m a happy camper!
