So I recently bought this car, the previous owner had only water in reservoir due to it "not being ran" so I filled it with antifreeze the next day. About 3 days later I drove approximately 10 miles in 45° weather, the car seemed kind of sluggish and running hot so I checked the level and it was at the fill spot, so I go to crack the cap off reservoir and it was so hot it blew the cap off, fluid everywhere etc etc, added stop leak, the bars leak brand and ran the vehicle until I got about 15 minutes of drive time to work it in the system. Few days later it started leaking again except this time I am pretty sure it caused my serpentine belt to slip off. The coolant seems to be dripping from somewhere above my oil pan not sure.
So I put the serpentine belt back on and had bought spark plugs and I had a "mechanic over" to assist. During the coil pack/pads installation he mixed up the order they were taking off the engine. My car starts right up, runs okay now, but there is a weird winding sound now and a huge loss in rpm's, weird shifting at times above second gear and a weird vibration under my feet. Any suggestions will definitely help. This is the first car I have bought and absolutely love ! Just want her running top notch.

Hi,

Often times a coolant leak where you described comes from the weep hole on the water pump. Take a mirror and see if you can look under the pump to determine if that is the leak.

The weep hole is about 1/4" in diameter. Also, I need to know what engine size you have. You indicate a 5.7 V6. The 5.7 is a V8. Please confirm because a V6 is also offered.

I also need to know if the check engine light is on and if the mechanic figured out the correct order for the wiring.

Lol. Yes v8 I didn't notice the typo, I apologize. (A v6 with 18 spark plugs) Lmao. And no I relieved him of his duties yesterday actually. And for the firing order if any are backwards its between 8 and 6,
and 7, 5. Possibly one or both sides are backwards with one another. And The leak stopped temporarily but that's because of the recent stop leak I added.

My car started running rough skipping etc, and loss of power. I went to Autozone and came up with three codes. 2 P2017 and 1004 Autozone said the codes showed issue with the fuel system being faulty. Either pump or injectors etc. I know it needs spark plugs and there seems to be an exhaust leak.

You only listed two codes not three, but the ones you did list are manifold tuning valve and either pump or injectors. See pictures for causes, but really a mechanic should check this out.

Scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge then check for vacuum leak.
