My car jerks when applying brakes

Hey before i come to a complete stop my car jerks. what is causing it to jerk before i come to a complete stop?

if it feels like pedal is going up and down it is probably rotors out of round and will need a brake job. if it does anything else have it scanned for codes by a mechanic as it may be an ABS problem.

When I go over over rough roads or stopping on uneven bumpy roads it feels like the pedal is pushing back against my foot.

that may be the abs engaging causing that if it never did it before then have a mechanic check this.
