Water leak

216,000 MILES • 3.0L • V6 • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

My "shade tree" mechanic husband replaced both heater hoses on the engine and water is still coming from the back of the engine somewhere down along side the bell housing. It is not visible from the top and the bottom so far. so the question is, is there another hose back there, or are we talking failed gasket or cracked something or other?

Hello,

It sounds like you have an intake gasket that is leaking. Can you get a picture of where it is coming from and upload it that would really help. Also, here is a guide that will help you find the coolant leak:
