2001 Volvo V70

my volvo makes a constant ticking sound on the drivers side door. Starts off fast then gets slower as the car warms up. The window works but it has got to the point where the automatic door lock on this side no longer works. Any suggestions?

Hi there,

the noise may be the door lock actuator trying to cycle over due to a faulty control module, this will need to be checked by a mechanic with Volvo experience.
