My buddy just aquired a 1991 940 gle for 50 bucks bu it seems to have a few oil leaks, one is coming from the front of the engine under the timing cover haven't fulkly looked in to that one the other is off the back of the motor its dripping badly off the bottom of the distributer, I figured it was the rear camshaft seal until I started taking the valve cover off and found all the spark plug holes full of oil anyone ever encounter this I thought it was odd.
there is also a little oil in the coolant resevoir any help would I would be very greatfull. Its a 16v 2.32L. The mileage is 160,000.

Spark plug holes full of oil indicates bad valve cover tube seals.
Front timing cover seal would be front oil problem, and dist. O ring could be other problem.
Oil in coolant resivour is not a good sign, either a head/intake gasket.
