1997 Volvo 850 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 180.00 miles

my Volvo 1997 850 did not start so we took to the repair shop and they did diagnostics. The ignition needed to be replaced and the repair shop replaced the ignition. When we picked it up from the repair shop we tried to start and did not start but then we tried again and we where successful. 3 days later we tried starting the vehicle and it just wont start making the same noise as before. My question is what do you think is going on with my Volvo and whats the situation?
