1985 vw vanagon stick shift with 100000 miles water cooled. my son was getting on freeway and had the radio to loud and shifted into 3rd and flored it for god knows how long or how many miles and didnt shift into 4th, he says 1 min. But anyway after that, when driving, when you push on the gas full throtal it hesitates now. like it has the wrong air, fule mix and has back fired . i drove it the next day and drove fine for 3 miles. then i turned it off and went into a parts store and came out 10 min. later and it started fouling up like i stated before. it dosent have the power it had and sputters. any help. please
