I have a 97 VW Jetta whose cruise control doesn't work. Just bought it used and am think its just the fuse. Can anyone please tell me exactly where its located. I saw the diagram but didn't specify exactly where its located. Thanks.

Yeah the brake lights work. I believe its a relay. Just wondering which one and where I don't have the manual.

There is no relay or fuse for the circuit. Will have to test the cruise control brake pedal position (BPP) switch, the vehicle speed sensor (VSS), cruise control vacuum pump and the cruise control switch. May be easier just to use a diagnostic scan tool capable of scanning cruise control systems to pinpoint the culprit.
