4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

started off the front drivers side door lock stopped working, the key would turn but nothing would happen so I was able to open the doors from passengers side by turning the key twice, that would open all doors and deactivate the anti theft system now the passenger side won't work either and if I open the car without the key the alarm will sound and immobilize the ignition. Is there anything i can do to prevent this and get into the car, or disarm the alarm without using the key in the lock as it doesn't work on either lock?

Hello,

It sounds like an issue with the central locking control module. A faulty module will be unable to unlock the doors and the anti-theft system gets triggered when manually opening the door.

The central locking module is located in the cargo area on the passenger side of the vehicle (see diagram below). It will require removal of few items.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thake you
