If my car sits for more than a few days, I need a jump for it to start. I have replaced the battery twice and also just had the alternator replaced, and the problem is still occurring. I came back after the Thanksgiving holiday (my car sat for 4 days) and it would not start without a jump. What else could be the problem? I'm tired of dealing with the dealership - for some reason they can't figure it out.

HI there,

You will need to get a current draw test done to see if there is an active circuit discharging the battery over this dormant period, a good mechanic will know how to do this test.
