1973 Volkswagen Beetle 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Car runns good for 8-10 miles then stalls. I drag it home and let it sit for hours, then runs great again. Just had a complete tune up, valve adjustment, carb. Rebuid. Stunned, culd this be a vapor lock problem?

Maybe fuel shut off solenoid on left side carb. Key on pull off wire should hear click every time wire is attached. When nit stalls test if no click solenoid is heating up and failing.
