When I am on a local street or road, I don’t feel any vibration on the steering wheel when I slow down. But when I am on the highway with a speed of 100 kph and slow down and step in the brake, that’s the time I feel the vibration in the steering wheel. Does this means my vehicle needs wheel alignment? Thanks and hoping for your most appreciated reply.

If you felt a vibration in the steering wheel all the time while in motion I would start by looking at the tires for odd wear or out of balance issues. However, a vibration only when you apply the brakes is usually an indication that you need to inspect the brake system (pads and rotors) for problems, either corrosion or damage. Both can cause steering wheel vibration.
