2006 Vauxhall Vectra Two Wheel Drive Manual 60000 miles

PLEASE HELP! My 1.9tdi Vectra estate started to loose power and throw out loads of black smoke and the turbo wouldnt kick in. Going uphill would be the worse at 10 miles p.H. I took it to the garage and they said the turbo had gone so sent it to be reconditioned and charged me £720.
3 days later it started again so I took it back and he said it was the aeg valve (not quite sure about the aeg but was 3 letters) costing another £150.
Now 10 days later it is doing exactly the same again. Can someone please help with a diagnosis and how to confront this mechanic. I have run out of money and feel totally ripped off. Thank you in advance if you can offer some advice, Joanne.

The turbo could still be faulty. Could be a bad fuel/air mixture fault (faulty MAF/MAP sensor). Could be numerous things to list without seeing the vehicle. You have paid to have this repaired (twice) tell the mechanic you want it repaired free as his first 2 attempts did not rectify the fault and you feel you have paid for repirs you did not need !
