I bought the car yesterday from a garage when, I was given only 1 key, I asked for a spare but they said there was only 1. I drove off the doors locked when I was driving, that has happened twice between getting it at 5pm last night. The key fob is faulty as it is hard to press and I was stuck at the garage as the petrol cap wouldn't unlock and even the garage attendant could'nt do it but after 10 mins managed to release the central locking. Is the central locking faulty can it be repaired or should I take the car back and demand my money back can I do that? By the way the person who sold it to me is a close family friend!

Some vauxhall models can be programmed to lock the doors automatically when the reach a certain speed usually around 10 MPH. This could be the case. You usually have 7 - 14 days cooling off period after purchasing a car. If they do not fix the faults to your satisfaction. Tell them (friend or not) you want your money back. Take it back to them and explain to them, if they do not fix the faults you want your money back . You will have to give them the chance to repair the vehicle for you first !

P.S. The keys for this models cost around  130 each and need to be programmed at an additional cost. If yours is not working corrrectly ask them to get you a new one and a spare !
