I'm currently driving a corsa c and have recently had a problem with my front window wipers. The window wipers are going very slow and at the same speed on every setting but once i put my foot down on the accelerator they speed up a little but no to the speed they should be going. They also don't return to there 'home' position when turned off.

This problem occurred after the sunny spell of weather.

Greetings,

This is most likely due to a failing wiper motor. When the wiper motor begins to fail not only do the wipers move slower but they tend to stop wherever they are at when you turn off the switch, rather than going to the down or "home" position.
