Valve cover gaskets

The shop wants a astronomical amount to replace. I'm a pretty good mechanic. Is there something special about this car that makes it difficult to replace the valve cover gaskets. As I look at it there doesn't seem to be anything special. But is there something I don't know. Please help. Thank you Roy

you may have to move some pipes out of the way and when you take it off lift towards the back to clear water pump shaft on LH side right side should come off but moving stuff like ignition components on both sides as well as intake cover.....
