It's possible that the brakes are sticking a little bit on one of the wheels. Next time you drive it, check the temperature of the wheels when you get out of the car. If one is significantly higher than the others, then we've found our problem wheel.
The other possibility that I can think of right off of the bat would be that the overdrive gear may not be engaging for one reason or another. With that, you might notice the engine is running faster and harder than it used to and you'll only feel two shifts when driving. First to second gear (15-25 mph) and second to third gear (25-35 mph).
Check out the brakes and pay close attention to the shifts. Let me know what you find.
