Rattle sound from around the torque converter

It sounds like a loose rattling kind of sound from around the torque converter. took off the inspection plate, and no loose bolts on it, or anything i could see. it gets worse when the car is in drive.

Hi Thomas,

If this gets louder when there is a load on the engine most likely one of the springs inside the converter have broken. It is also possible that there is something inside the bell housing that this is scraping. Does it get faster when you increase RPM?

Either way, the only way I can see finding the route cause is to remove it.
