My engine will not start and run can you help me please?

My truck will turn over but not starting. I have checked and found out that I am not getting spark, I can't hear the fuel pumps turn on and my OBD1 code reader is not working. my initial thought was that my ECM was bad. I just replaced the computer this morning and still nothing.

Thoughts?

Here is a link that explains how to retrieve codes on this system without a scan tool. All you need is a test light.

If you lost spark, my first suspect is the TFI module on the side of the distributor. That is what most people refer to as a spark module. Have you done anything with that part? This sounds like a fuel pump or the fuel pump relay has gone out. When you turn the key to the on position without cranking the engine over can you hear the fuel pump run in the tank for 5 seconds?
