Truck stalling while driving

I put gas in my SUV within 3 miles my check engine light flickered and my truck just Shut off. ended up towing it home. but then it started back up. drove it down the road maybe a mile and it did it again. the check engine light is not on so it's not throwing any codes. is it bad gas? What should we be checking on because every garage around here is booked until September?

I would start by checking the actual fuel pressure to be sure the pump is working correctly.

Yes, it could be the fuel but the pressure needs to be checked first.
