I have the vehicle listed above with an AOD transmission that uses a throttle TV cable. I was tightening the nut that holds the throttle cable lever on the stud and snapped it off. There seems to be no simple fix other than replacing the shaft. Unfortunately, I can not find the part anywhere online. Has anyone ever replaced one? Picture shows the part of issue.

Unfortunately, there is no easy fix for this problem, the transmission pan will need to come off and the valve body removed. You can find the part at a transmission rebuilder who if they don't have it can order it for you. Here is how it is replaced in the images below, the transmission pan will need to be removed please let us know how it goes.
