I am having problems with my transmission, I installed a stage one transmission with a 1800-2100 stall torque convertor. The torque convertor went out less then a year. I'm not driving hard on it I don't rag my truck. I figured that the torque convertor was to weak for the transmission, when I Haul things. I installed a 2100-2500 stall torque convertor and now it is having trouble shifting, what could be causing this?

what is wrong with astock converter? why do you need to up the stall speed? if you arehaving shifting problems check fluid first and make sure it is red, not brown. you could have had converter pieces go into your valve body and screw things up there. have a trans guy scan it to see what 's going on.
