Recently my truck started and having a problem taking off from a stop, the transmission is slipping when I take off. Last week it started randomly running rough. I really cannot afford to lose my truck right now, it is my way to work. Any suggestions on where to look for the problem would be greatly appreciated.

Good evening.

Did you check the fluid level? Make sure it is full.

When was the last time you change the transmission oil/filter? That is where I would start in case the filter is partially clogged.
