When I'm in first gear sometimes it doesn't go right away it kind of gets stuck and then if I try to accelerate the revs up really high. I have to drive really slowly until it clicks into gear. I had it had it diagnosed at AutoZone and what they said it was the replace the transmission shift solenoid and the and the pan gasket and I guess the transmission filter.

Hi,

By chance, did they provide you with the code that was retrieved? Also, what size engine is in the vehicle? I need that to know what transmission you would have.

Many of these vehicles are made using a CVT transmission. If that is what you have, it doesn't work the same as a traditional transmission.

Let me know what code, if you know whether or not it is a CVT transmission, and if you have checked the transmission fluid level and condition. Does the transmission respond the same regardless of its temperature?

Here is a link you may find helpful:

Let me know as much as you can.

Take care,

Joe
