Started with engine overheating and can’t figure out why? And now Transmission having issues when shifter in reverse no response or while driving it won’t shift from second to drive or overdrive even manually shifted it stays in second gear. Issues aren’t constant just random.

This could be because the transmission cooler inside the radiator has leaked, and you now have transmission fluid inside the radiator and coolant inside of the transmission. Wait until the engine is cold and then open the radiator cap to see what the fluid looks like, Also, check the level of the transmission fluid.
