Car is front wheel drive. In the mornings it starts shifts fine until operating temperature then starts shifting like slipping. When starts that can stop turn off let sit one minute and start up and go in drive it. Go 1 and 2 but goes in forth it slips like it is not catching all the way slips in and out. I ran code but can't remember what the numbers were, but said it was torque converter. Something is off if that makes any sense. I am trying to get it to throw another code so I will have the codes again.

Hi John,

Yes. A torque converter does make sense in this case. It could be due to the fluid but more than likely the converter clutch is slipping or not being able to lock up completely. Basically, if the transmission is throwing a code related to the transmission and you are having transmission issues then let's address that code and go from there.

Let me know what questions you have. Thanks
