4 speed automatic transmission. SES light came on, pulled several codes, P0700, P1781, P1782, P0731, P0732, P0733 and P0734. Van will drive about ten miles the transmission will disengage all gears and will not move. Acts as if in neutral. Van will once again move after cooling down. Changed fluid and filter, problem still occurs. Is this the swan song for the vehicles transmission?

Changing the fluid and filter removed the two "cheap" problems that cause those codes. Next is a sticky solenoid pack or failing pump. Because it cools down and works I would suspect the pump is starting to fail and you have some worn/cracked seals allowing fluid bypass.
