My vehicle will go in reverse fine but when I put it in drive it wont pull. But I can hit the winter drive button and you can hear it kick in then it goes fine and when it gets to around 25 mph the winter drive button above speedometer goes off and runs and shifts fine until it gets under 25 mph again and will not pull unless I put it back in winter drive mode. Any suggestions what I should do to fix this problem?

Good afternoon,

Did you have the system checked for codes?

This sounds like a four wheel drive issue. Did you have all the axles checked to be sure none of them have any damage?

Thank you so much for your time and help by the way. No have not been able to get it to a mechanic to check for codes. Couple mechanics told me to change the transmission filter and oil and then another told me to change the shifting solenoids on it. But now just today it will only go in reverse. Put it in drive and even if I press the winter drive button it doesn't do anything, wont move at all like before it would pull I'f I pressed the winter drive button. Back in 2014 it had a full transmission rebuild done to it at 168,000 miles and only had 194,000.

Got it.

I would start by changing the oil and filter. If that does not make a difference, then it is internal in the transmission.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to try that hopefully I get to it after work today. I'll be back in touch if it fixes my problem or it keeps acting up and does not pull. Thanks again
