It is a newly rebuilt 4L60E. We had to replace a couple parts in the valve body. After placing it back in last night, It would not take fourth and had a hard shift going into second. Also, we had to let off the throttle for it to shift into second. Upon replacing the parts, we did not touch any gears. We changed the wiring harness, the filter screen for the pump and replaced all the bushing and seals in the pump. We also noticed a small crack in what I believe is my 2-3 shift solenoid. I am a complete car dummy and still learning all the parts. The best way I can describe the cracked part is it looks like an inhaler. Please help me if you can. I am desperate to have my truck up and running properly. Thank you.

Hello,

It sounds like may have a shaft speed sensor not working, can you read the codes and see what come up please?

Can you send a picture of what you are talking about with the crack?

Please let us know what you find.

Cheers, Ken
