all forward gears are zero fluid is good not burnt. was driving fine then nada.

Are the gear inductor lights working, okay? If not, you have a gear range sensor that is out. We should run the codes to see what comes up, this guide can help:

It sounds like the first gear control solenoid has gone out. Here is the location in case a code comes up for it.
