So, I was driving and the trac off light and check engine light came on at the same time. I read where someone asked about the input speed sensor being out and at the time my cruise control wouldn't work but I shut the vehicle down and turned it back on. Trac off light is off but the check engine light is still on, but my car is running perfectly fine, no shift hard issues. Please help!

We should run the codes to see what comes up. I have included a guide to help us as well as the input shaft speed sensor in case this is the problem in the diagrams below.

The input speed sensor is inside the transmission the book calls for 10 hours to replace it because you must remove the transmission to replace it so let's hope it is not that. Check out the diagrams (below) #15. Please let us know what happens.

Thank you! I will look into that if it happens again. I honestly think something was obstructing the wheel speed sensor because it hasn't done it since I asked the first question.

But now the car is acting like it is about to shut off on me and the A/C gets warm for a second, and the RPMs are going up to 1,500 then back down to almost 300 then revs back up to 1500. It doesn't happen all the time, but every maybe 3 times a week. Think you could help me out with that head scratcher? I'm out of ideas on the second thing. Thanks so much for all your help though guys!
