The Vechile is from mexico. Its passed smog in nevada but it read the it had no catalytic converter on the test. DMV said to go get the pcm reset. Will this help it?

Emmissions laws in Mexico are completely different than U.S.

Volkswagen still makes the 60's Beetle in Mexico and they cannot be imported into U.S. Without MAJOR modifications to emmissions.

Take car to dealer and have it checked.
