compressor 412.76
O rings 10.00
clutch 282.75
labor 135.00
evac and recharge 158.00
When I asked why the clutch when it is the compressor that is bad, he said that it was best to replace the clutch because if it goes bad any time it would damage the new compressor and it would have to be replaced again. Someone else advised me to ask if the clutch and the compressor arent all one part.
Did I receive honest answers and good advice from the mechanic? Are these prices in line with industry standards?
P.S. We just replaced the evaporator core and dryer at a cost of $495.00 2 weeks ago and the condenser 8000 miles ago
