Tercel CE 1997, 125,000 miles, 4 cl Been starting inconsistently. The first time, thougt it was battery and got a jump but that wasn't it. Then I tried starting the car again, and it started up. My guess it is the clutch, as on a Toyota truck, if the clutch is not engaged all the way to the floor, it will not start. But then it started to turn on, but not start, so now I think it is the ignigition switch?? I would like some kind of answer before taking it in to the dealer to get fixed so they don't SNOW me, or ripp me off! Thank you for your help!
