Transmission problem
2001 Toyota Pickup 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 150k miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Last night, I put my truck in park at a stop light. When I put it back in to Drive, it stalled. Put it into Park, and it re-started immediately. I put it back into Drive, and it stalled again. I had the truck towed to a mechanic. He is telling me I need to spend $1,600 on a bad transmission. Any ideas? That just doesn't sound right.
