Why does my 1996 tacoma run better cold than at normal temp, this truck has the best of every thing, don.I'm running 87 oct, 5/30 mobil 1, new wires, cap, rotor, all filters, mobil 1 trans fluid and e3 spark plugs. My problem is that I dont have the acceleration hot as I do cold, is this a bad fuel pump?

First scan the ecm for troble codes follow this link. https://www.2carpros.com/dia/index.htm it sounds like you have a ecm coolant temp sensor that has gone bad, please check it out and get back to me.
