I tried to pull out one of my driveaxles and hit a road block. It would not come all the way out. The angle that it was on had it camming off of the lower control arm. The 6 studs on the axle housing where somewhat in the way, but they would not back out. Took the metal straps off of the boots for more movement, but still did not get it out. Have others had trouble doing so? Any tips?

Hi MadMax20010,

To create additional movement for the shaft, use a jack to prop up the lower control up slightly so the the CV shaft angle is levelled and not pressing agaist the lower control arm.

Did you remove the upper arm ball joint?
