I was advised that I need a left front axle replaced on my 1993 Toyota pickup. If I choose not to do it, do you believe it is dangerous to drive? I am hoping to drive it from Colorado to Montana and bacik this summer...

That would depend on what is wrong. If it is a 4WD, you would not have any problem if you use 2WD. However if it is so bad that it is about to give way, it should be repaired as failure can cause other damages.
