Engine Performance problem
1984 Toyota Cressida Two Wheel Drive Automatic

When leaving a stop sign/light the car sputters and wont go but a few feet. If I pump the pedal as fast as I can it will go if I pause in the position that made it go. It seems like there is a vaccum/electr/ problem. Its kind of like taking the coil wire and removing it and tapping it, the car runs great if I foor it as I'm going on the freeway, but it wont go from a stand still unless i pump the pedal and pause on the position where it would run and not bogg or run sputtering. At idle its fine, but when putting down the pedal it acts funny.
