I have a 1995 Toyota Carolla with about 120,000 miles. There is a slight shimmy in the steering wheel when driving on the highway. What might be the cause?

Hi there,

The first thing to do is have the tyres inspected for damage, have a wheel balance done and have the front suspension & steering checked for serviceability, If the shimmy is worse under breaking and you can feel a slight pulsation I the brake pedal, the front brake rotors will need machining.
